However, I think the point you'd like to mention is, the recommend lists are different in terms of downlink and uplink I had a tech come out this last week and he measured 700Mbs download speed directly from the cable I did notice that the firmware version of my modem (V6.01.06) doesn't seem to match Netgear's expectation for what Xfinity should be passing to a CM1000v2
